Have we tired of Heaven,

always the poets exclaiming

of it’s magnificence, it’s pearly

gates, it’s location, the clouds

they say

/

have we grown tired of that place,

will mount Olympus be the

new craze or is it too late,

maybe Atlantis will resurface! 

will they now begin to sing

of places new to this century,

Hogwarts, Narnia, Panem,

where the wild things are,

in a galaxy far far away,

what will the poets say?

/

Or will it all desist and they will remember

the place they stay,will they return to the

place they live and give praise to

our mother earth, or do

they still wish to stray,

is home such a unsafe place?
